COVID-19 – RCM COMPANY UPDATE

by BY GARY CONWAY, PRESIDENT

Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For RCM, that means understanding how it affects our employees, clients and communities and then making the necessary adjustments to our workplace and operations. Our senior leadership team remains vigilant and is monitoring the situation in real time and responding rapidly as conditions evolve.

For our employees, we are diligently following guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control. We have canceled large meetings/gatherings, restricted business travel, increased health and public safety awareness and have made the decision to have some of our employees that have the ability, to work remotely from home. We continue to follow strict HIPAA regulations as it relates to client and patient information.

As a valued client of RCM, we understand the importance of the services we provide to you and the responsibility that entails. Given the nature and uncertain impact of COVID-19, we have implemented a business continuity plan and have taken actions to ensure continued service to our clients.

RCM will continue to process all charges regardless of submission type (EPIC, email/fax, mail). However, we do encourage the use of our secure fax for those clients who are currently submitting by mail. Your charges should be faxed over in the following document sequence order:

1. Patient demographic/face sheet
2. Billing ticket
3. Anesthesia record

You may submit your faxed charges one case per fax or multiple charges per fax in the document sequence mentioned above.

The secure fax number is: 714-347-1095

Cloud Billing submission is available with WiCis Health. Please contact Carlota Fenes at carlota@wicishealth.com and reference “cloud billing request RC McLean” in the subject line (fee involved).

Should you have questions or concerns, you may contact us at synergy@rcmclean.com.

We recognize this is a challenging situation for us all and we wish you well during this time. We will keep you updated as the situation evolves.
