We have received the final fee schedule released by the federal register on December 4. As anticipated, there is a decrease in the conversion rate effective January 1, 2021 dates of service of approximately 10%. This is both for anesthesia and general surgical conversation rates. ⦁ The national Anesthesia Conversion Rate will drop from $22.20 in 2020 to $20.06 in 2021 ⦁ The national Surgical Conversion Rate will drop from $36.09 in 2020 to $32.41 in 2021 Your particular area rate is based on the national conversion rate with locality adjustments. The following is a list of areas we service and their 2021 conversion rate vs 2020.
